About our studio.

An overview of what we do.

Scaletta Music is a private lesson instruction school that focuses on providing a fresh, modern, and fun approach to learning instruments. Our students get as rounded of a curriculum as possible, and teach professional level concepts to beginners using language everyone can understand.

Our lessons focus on music reading and theory with class techniques, but are tailored to every individual student. We teach the music each student wants to learn, and put them on a path to success they want to go down.

Matthew McEwen

INSTRUCTOR OF

PIANO • GUITAR • DRUMS • UKULELE

Matthew's first experience making music was taking drumset lessons when he was 7, and from that moment, he decided to stick with it! (Ba-dum-tss) All jokes aside, music became more and more of a passion for him through the years, and an after-school program helped to spark his interest in helping others find that same love for music. He taught his first lesson at Scaletta Music in the summer of 2018, and he continues to teach students of all ages and abilities. He plans to attend UW - Stevens Point for Music Education in the fall of 2021.
